However, this is no ordinary auction because what would interest the most powerful people in existence except the extraordinary, that which is beyond their long, long reach?
This auction will feature artefacts and items, biological and technological, retrieved in humanity’s furthest explorations of our universe. High Technology not replicable by anyone, origins unknown except they’re extra-solar.
Yet in keeping with our aims and the rarity of the items we’re bringing you, this is not an auction where currency of the kind you’re used to spending will buy you anything worth having.
No. Instead, under the full glare of the markets, your best negotiating teams (hard and soft) are invited to display their prowess and in that demonstration earn currency to spend on these items in a series of rounds with different themes.
As one of our most important and influential corporate citizens you are invited to submit a negotiating team from your head office together with a hostile takeover execution team. Both your teams will be set tasks and success in those tasks will provide currency to spend either on items to help with later tasks or to spend on the items in the Host’s auction.
Opening with a champagne reception, we will then move into the serious business of spending huge amounts of money to see who walks away with transformative technologies and who will be left behind as a takeover target.
